As a FIRAS-accredited provider, we ensure every project meets the highest standards — including British and European regulations, best-practice codes of installation, the Fire Safety Act 2021, and the Building Safety Act 2022. As a result, clients can trust us to deliver fully-compliant, transparent passive fire services that are built to last.
CLM is a leading UK provider of passive fire protection. We deliver expert design support and installation services across the UK, working across a wide range of sectors. All works are third-party accredited through FIRAS, using CERTIFIRE-approved products tested to BS EN 1366 and BS 476 standards. We support full Golden Thread compliance, from BIM and pre-design coordination through to digital record-keeping during installation and final handover of digital records.
About CLM
CLM’s Digital team offers Building Information Modelling (BIM), design and technical consultancy to support projects from the earliest design stages. Utilising a range of advanced modelling and compliance tools, we can identify non-compliances, clashes and spatial conflicts. This eliminates design risks before construction begins, with automated guidance for compliance and approved firestopping details applied directly to models. Clients will therefore benefit from greater cost certainty and improved coordination across disciplines for safer, more efficient design.
CLM delivers fully-accredited passive fire protection installations across major projects nationwide, including structural steel protection, firestopping and penetration sealing, slab edge, cavity barriers and fire doors. We strive to uphold the highest standards of fire protection installation, with a focus on efficiency, sustainability and continuous improvement. Every single project is handled by specialist installers and supported by OneTrace, our digital compliance technology platform. This provides real-time transparency on installations, in full adherence to the Golden Thread approach to building fire safety.
We ensure long-term safety and compliance through the targeted inspection and remediation of passive fire protection systems. This can range from upgrading fire doors in line with rigorous regulatory standards, to rectifying compartment breaches in service penetrations around pipes, cables, ducts and door assemblies. To fulfil key compliance requirements, all of our maintenance services include detailed reporting and in-depth documentation as part of a fully-transparent audit trail.
Engaging with clients early in the design phase to ensure compliance while streamlining projects and delivering long-term cost savings.
Enhancing the strength, fire-resistance and load-bearing capabilities of structural steel in line with building safety regulations.
Tailoring the application of intumescent paint, cementitious coatings and fire boarding to a range of project-specific requirements.
Maintaining the integrity of compartmentation systems by sealing service penetrations within complex and multi-faceted building environments.
Minimising fire damage and the spread of smoke in buildings through a robust and fully-compliant compartmentation strategy.
